In this age of uncertainty about illnesses, pandemics, and social distancing, many of our patients are understandably concerned about limiting their potential exposure. But while some appointments can be performed virtually, other critical foot care services that require in-person treatment often cannot wait.

How can you protect yourself and your family?

Capital Podiatry Associates is solving this problem with valet medicine appointments. This is a private and much safer way of seeing the doctor that minimizes contact with others and maintains the strictest standards of cleanliness through all necessary interactions.

How Does Valet Medicine Keep Me and My Family Safe From Exposure?

Patients who schedule a valet appointment are never kept in a waiting room with others, regardless of whether they have any symptoms.

When you pull into the parking lot for your appointment, give us a call. Once your appointment is ready to begin, a medical assistant will come out to your car and get you.

You’ll then be brought through the side entrance and directly into a private exam room. All of your examination, treatment, and follow-up will be held separately from our public facilities, isolated from other patients.

All objects, environments, and surfaces will be thoroughly sanitized before and after they are to be used, including at transaction. We even wash and sanitize money and payment cards that are to be used or exchanged. Our medical staff will be constantly washing their hands, and gloves and masks can also be provided as necessary.

Who Should Use This Service?

Valet appointments are highly encouraged for any patients who are considered “high risk” for COVID-19 or any other severe infectious diseases. However, anyone who simply wants the safest, cleanest, and most private experience for their foot and ankle care should consider valet service.

Keep in mind, also, that many appointments that require only a visual inspection, such as wound care follow-up or many diagnostic services, can be performed entirely remotely via a telemedicine appointment. If you aren’t sure whether telemedicine or a valet appointment is right for you, please don’t hesitate to call and ask.
